Eric T. Mong

DDS

Dr. Eric Mong was born and raised in Greenville, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Reynolds High School in 1981, Allegheny College in 1985, and Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1989.

After practicing in Chagrin Falls, Ohio with Dr. Jeffrey Campbell for 2 years, Dr. Mong returned to Greenville in 1991 to begin his own private practice. Since 1991, Dr Mong's practice has grown from a one employee, one dental chair practice, to a 13 employee, 9 chair practice with two office locations.

Dr. Mong is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, District Nine Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Mong has two daughter, Jaimie and Katie, both graduates of Allegheny College, both are pursuing careers in dentistry.

Jaimie M. Mong

DMD

Dr. Jaimie grew up in Greenville, PA. She graduated from Greenville High School in 2006, Allegheny College in 2010, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2015.

After spending most of her life watching her father, Dr. Mong, help many in the community through dentistry, she chose to follow in his footsteps. She joined Dr. Mong’s private practice upon graduation in 2015. Her personal interests in the field include esthetic dentistry, treating patients with special needs, and bringing awareness to drug use and the implications on the oral cavity. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Dr. Jaimie currently resides with her husband in Sandy Lake, PA with her husband and dog. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new recipes, and a nice glass of wine.

Theresa Wasser

CDA/EFDA

Fresh out of dental assisting school, Theresa has been a part of my staff since she has been nineteen years old. She was an assistant for thirteen years before she earned her CDA and went on to further her education to become an EFDA. Theresa graduated high school in 1991 and J.H. Thompson Academy in 1992. In 2004, she attended and graduated in 2005 from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry with an EFDA certificate.

She is state board certified and continues to keep up with the latest dental technology through continuing education.

Theresa married her husband Rob in June 2020. They reside in Jamestown, where Theresa has been a lifelong resident. She has three children Lexie, Hunter, and Jed. Theresa is blessed with two granddaughters that she spends much of her spare time with.

Shayne Mong

CDA/EFDA/CAD CAM Dental Designer

Shayne joined Dr Mong's staff on November 1, 1994 as a dental assistant. She is a 1987 graduate from Commodore Perry High School and 1989 graduate of Shenango Valley School of business with a degree as a Medical Assistant.

In 1997, she completed DANB certification requirements to become a Certified Dental Assistant. In 1998 she graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry's Expanded Function Dental Auxilary program and began her EFDA career with Dr. Mong.

In 2014, she became a certified (7th to be certified in the state of Pennsylvania) CAD CAM Dental Designer after completing the certification course from E4D University in Dallas Texas.

Shayne resides in Greenville with her two sons, Bryer and Trap.

Amy Brown

Insurance Administrator

Amy joined the staff May 20, 2002, she was trained within the office and gained experience as a dental assitant as well as duties at the front desk. She in now the primary insurance administrator for the office. Amy is a lifelong resident of Greenville, a graduate of Greenville High School and Mercer County Vocational School. She is married and together with her husband Dan they have three children Brittany, Ian, Jacob and two grandchildren Torres and Kamryn.

Katie Mong-Heinauer

Katie grew up in Greenville, PA. She graduated from Greenville High School in 2009, Allegheny College in 2013 and the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene Program in 2016.
In her spare time she enjoys shopping, trying out new restaurants and spending time with family and friends. She also likes to participate in 5K races and enjoys going on walks. She is excited to be a part of the Mong Family Dental Team where she can share her passion for dental hygiene.

Carrie Barber

Dental Assistant

Carrie has been a dental assistant for 10 years. She has been apart of the Mong Family Dentistry practice since September 2017.
Carrie resides in Greenville with her husband and three children.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping and spending time with family.

Sammie grew up in Jamestown, PA. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 2013 and the Fortis Institute Dental Hygiene Program in 2017.
Sammie currently reside in Sandy Lake, PA with her husband Garrett and their 2 dogs Ramsee and Nash.
In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs, shopping, watching basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

Nancy has lived in Greenville all her life. She raised to wonderful boys. Brian and Alex
Family, friends, and animals mean the most to her. She loves the beach (North Jetty Pier), hiking, kayaking, and spending time with loved ones.

Theresa joined Mong Family Dentistry in March of 2020. Graduating from Greenville High School and from Shenango Valley School of Business in 1994, with an Associate Business Degree in Secretarial Science.
She has two wonderfull daughters Tina and Tiffany, whom she loves spending time with.

Gwynne grew up in Sharpsville, PA. She graduated from Sharpsville High School in 2019 and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from Youngstown State University in 2023.
Gwynne loves spending time with her family, boyfriend, and dog, Fudge. In her spare time enjoys attending sporting events, concerts, binge watching TV shows, and going shopping.
